The latest and most exciting product is the worldwide patented ‘FAB&FIXLOCK Security Cylinder’ which was officially launched at the Chartered Institute of Housing Exhibition at Harrogate in June 2007. The Security Cylinder is a revolutionary but simple solution to the vulnerability of Euro Profile Cylinders highlighted in the National Press. Fab & Fix re-designed the cylinder and removed the weakest section completely, the centre screw. Constructed from solid brass and tested to more than 100,000 cycles the Security Cylinder also comes with 3 keys as standard, reflecting the needs of today’s modern household.
Fab and Fix is a ‘Secured by Design’ licensed company with a substantial in-house product design and testing facilities and the Security Cylinder has been designed to meet the PAS 024 standard.
